A thermos bottle is often a good enough example. It is better to study four subjects thoroughly than six superficially. I had lots of trouble measuring the flow rate of water out of the burette (needed 3 hands) but I think if you videoed a stopwatch and the burette as it empties you could get accurate measurements.
